Administrative Assistant - Communication Studies Schieffer College of Communica
The Department of Communication Studies in TCU’s Bob Schieffer College of Communication is hiring a full-time Administrative Assistant. We are looking for someone who will enjoy working with our students, faculty, and staff, who is customer-service oriented, and who can move administrative projects along while also maintaining a welcoming office environment. Qualified applicants will have experience providing administrative support in an office setting. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are important, as is the ability to work independently without supervision. Daily tasks include answering phone calls, responding to email inquiries, welcoming office visitors, ordering supplies, maintaining office equipment, assisting faculty with administrative tasks, and coordinating daily administrative projects with the department chair. Other responsibilities include monitoring department social media outlets, reconciling financial reports, and coordinating special events. This position regularly interacts with students and helps connect them to information and other resources. This position also interacts with other staff members in the College and across campus, so a sense of humor, humility, and Horned Frog spirit is also important. Associate/Full Professor and Department Chair - Kinesiology Harris Nursing & Health Scn
Texas Christian University, Harris College of Nursing and Health Sciences, invites applications for the position of Associate/Full Professor and Chair of the Department of Kinesiology (tenure track appointment). The Chair is the senior administrator of the academic unit and serves as the liaison between the Department and the Dean of the college. The Chair is responsible for leading strategic planning, budget allocations, and management of resources; activities related to student recruitment and retention; faculty and staff orientation and development; resource enhancement; and the advancement of the Department's mission and goals within the University and the College. The Chair also oversees faculty/staff appointments, and in consultation with the faculty, promotion and tenure recommendations, program development and curricula. We are seeking an individual to continue the department's record of strategic growth and advancement in teaching, research, and professional practice. The candidate will have an earned doctorate and demonstrated teaching/research experience in a discipline related to Kinesiology. As an experienced faculty member, teaching each semester in your field will be expected and mentoring graduate and undergraduate students in research will be highly encouraged. We have well equipped labs including but not limited to DEXA, environmental chamber, force plate, motion capture, wet lab equipment, and ultra sound. Strong interpersonal communication skills and demonstrated or strong potential for successful academic leadership is essential. An understanding of all the programs within the department including health and fitness, movement science, physical education, and athletic training, is preferred. This full-time faculty position is on campus and in person.

Visiting Lecturer in Biology College of Science & Engineeri
The Biology Department at Texas Christian University seeks a Visiting Lecturer beginning August 2022. The teaching load for the position will comprise up to 12 contact hours per semester for both Fall 2022 and Spring 2023. The successful candidate will be expected to teach: i) an upper-level Cellular, Molecular, and Developmental Biology course and ii) a non-majors Biology course with corresponding laboratory sections. A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Biological Sciences or related field is required. This one-year, full-time faculty position is on-campus and in-person.

The Assistant Director of First Year Admission is a representative of TCU responsible for administering all aspects of the college search, recruiting, and admissions process with prospective students, including direct contact with prospective students, parents, high school counselors, and teachers to communicate specifics about the academic and co-curricular programs of TCU; and encouraging prospective students to apply and evaluating and making decisions on undergraduate admissions to the University. The Assistant Director of First Year Admission may be assigned to support or manage logistics and marketing associated with on-campus events, special speakers, departmental committees, and supervise one or more student interns, Admission Counselors, or other departmental professional staff.
Physical Education Teacher College of Education
The Teacher Physical Education is responsible for planning and providing physical educational services for all of the students attending KinderFrogs (ages 18 months to 6 years) and Starpoint (ages 6 years to 12 years) Laboratory Schools on the campus of TCU. The individual will work with teachers and therapists to identify student needs and to apply a program consistent with identified needs and developmental levels; manage a collaborative teaching environment conducive to student learning; communicate student progress with parents; participate in planning and implementing parent education opportunities; and welcome TCU students for observation.
Budgets Director VC Finance & Administration
The Budget Director supervises, plans, and controls the university-wide budget process and the revenue enhancement and expense control initiatives through continuous improvement of existing financial budgeting and reporting practices and by enhancing financial budgeting analytics. This position works closely with key internal partners, particularly academic and administrative unit partners and makes budget policy recommendations.
