Research Assistant College of Science & Engineeri
The Research Assistant is responsible for assisting IBR principal investigators by carrying out research activities according to established research protocols. This job is 10-20 hrs/week, temporary position, and requires the successful applicant reside in or near one of the geographic areas where research activities are being conducted in Texas (e.g., Grayson, Harris, Hood, Williamson counties) or Illinois (e.g., DuPage, Saline county). This will be an annual position ending in December 2021, with the potential for renewal.

Tutor Athletics
The Tutor is responsible for providing individual and small group tutoring to student-athletes in the AASO facilities, and assisting in improving academic achievement by meeting with student-athletes on a regular basis to clarify learning problems and work on study skills. Other assistance might include: reviewing class material, discussing the text, preparing for tests, brainstorming ideas for papers, or working on solutions to practice problems. Tutoring is a supplement to classroom instruction. The Tutor will report to their assigned Learning Specialist and/or the Tutor Coordinator.
Academic Coach Athletics
The Academic Coach is responsible for reinforcing the Athletic Academic Services Office (AASO) commitment to transformative education by helping student-athletes with learning strategies, organization, study skills and alignment of their academic priorities. Academic Coaches work with identified student-athletes based on recent matriculation, developing academic achievement and/or learning differences. Academic Coaches seek to model appropriate behavior for learning, provide customized instruction and guide student-athletes through the learning process. The Academic Coach will report to their assigned Learning Specialist and/or the Tutor Coordinator.

The Associate Director Neeley Alcon Career Center is responsible for providing leadership and vision to the Alcon Career Center, developing and executing a strategic plan to strengthen and maintain robust campus recruiting programs along with an increase in national recognition of Neeley undergraduate candidates and creating student programs that prepare BBA students for internships and full time jobs. This position is accountable for developing relationships with hiring organizations who offer prospective employment opportunities.
