Director of Athletics Creative Content Athletics
The Director of Athletics Creative Content is responsible for leading the creative content staff with oversight of shooting and editing for video projects, with a heavy emphasis on social media video content. Duties will range from in-house produced video board content to social media content at TCU Athletics events, both home and away. In addition, video content may include long form features, highlight videos, hype videos, motion graphics, and personality videos. This includes but is not limited to filming, editing, and producing videos, graphics and photos to be used across multiple platforms to enhance the TCU Athletics brand through social media strategy and recruiting initiatives.

The Department of Engineering at Texas Christian University invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice Faculty position in the Department of Engineering. While a Doctorate in Engineering or a closely related field is preferred, candidates with at least 30 hours of graduate level study will be considered. Candidates must have experience working in industry as an engineer. The successful candidate must have broad interests in engineering and be interested in teaching undergraduate courses from the first-year through the fourth-year level of Mechanical Engineering. A candidate interested in teaching undergraduate laboratory courses with proficiency in solid modeling is strongly preferred.

The Department of Engineering at Texas Christian University invites applications for an Associate Professor or Professor of Professional Practice Faculty position in the Department of Engineering. While a Doctorate in Engineering or a closely related field is preferred, candidates with at least 30 hours of graduate level study will be considered. Candidates must have experience working in industry as an engineer. Rank will be based upon education and experience. The successful candidate must have broad interests in engineering and be interested in teaching undergraduate courses from the first-year through the fourth-year level of either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. A background in Mechanical Machine Design is preferred. A candidate that can work with industry partners to define senior design projects for teams of 10-15 students and able to mentor one of the senior design teams throughout the year would be preferred.

Assistant/Associate Professor of English AddRan College
This full-time faculty position is on-campus and in-person. The English department at Texas Christian University seeks a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in Rhetoric and Composition. The successful candidate will support the department’s Rhetoric and Composition unit in the area of community literacies as it relates to “community writing,” “public writing,” and “community-based” communication. We are looking for a colleague who challenges socially hierarchical and institutional understandings of literacy, writing, qualitative research, and pedagogy in classrooms and communities and makes real the transformative possibilities of teaching and studying writing in community contexts. Preference will be given to candidates whose scholarly engagements and praxis with community literacies intersect with one or more of the following: BIPOC and anti-racist pedagogies, anti-coloniality, digital writing, translingual writing, or transnational literacies. We seek applicants with lived experiences, “community-accountable” service, and/or teaching practices critically informed by worldviews and perspectives from underrepresented groups along the axes of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, and disability. This position will be one of three new hires in the English department committed to anti-colonial praxis. Candidates will be asked to teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, mentor undergraduate and MA theses as well as PhD dissertations, and serve on graduate student committees. The successful candidate will contribute to the dynamic graduate program in Rhetoric and Composition as well as support our undergraduate minor and major in writing. The position carries a 3/2 teaching load, a competitive salary, and internal research support.
Director of Upward Bound Program College of Education
The Director of Upward Bound (UB)/TRIO Programs is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the TCU Upward Bound program in accordance with the approved federal grant proposal and US Department of Education guidelines including developing, planning, and implementing support services to eligible participants. The position requires a self-motivated individual proficient in administration, assessment, strategic planning, and implementation of student success initiatives designed to achieve and report, on an annual basis, the accomplishment of all program goals and performance objectives. This includes overseeing the recruitment of eligible participants, daily operations of academic support services, course selection, academic tutoring, and other related services. The UB Director provides coaching and supervision, monitors annual budgets and federal data for annual reporting that ensure grants adhere to federal, state, and college regulations. The UB Director will establish and maintain successful relationships with colleagues, be responsible for connecting multiple offices and departments to accomplish program objectives, and operate within a frame of building structures that holistically support students through intentional and thoughtful engagement with high-impact educational practices.
