Job Summary:

The Learning Specialist – Part Time is responsible for providing program management support (including planning, executing and managing activities and processes) related to the overall design and delivery of in-person and virtual Executive Education offerings for the Neeley School of Business.

Duties & Essential Job Functions:

1. Supports a portfolio of learning programs, ensuring successful project management for delivery and execution of the program.
2. Manages multiple program timelines, deadlines, materials and other program components to ensure successful program execution.
3. Supports faculty and evaluates and recommends instructional design strategies for executive-level learners to enhance knowledge transfer and program experience.
4. Collaborates closely with the Director of Executive Program Development in the management and design of multiple specialized programs and ongoing enhancements.
5. Coordinates and hosts virtual learning opportunities and engagement activities.
6. Partners with Coordinator, Executive Education program on program logistics, department events, program cost management and other synergistic functions.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in program or project management and adult-learning learning/training and development or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Learning design for adult learners
• Program management / project management experience
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Skill in oral and written communication with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively at all organizational levels
• Skill in providing strong internal and external customer service
• Ability to provide a high degree of professionalism in program execution
• Ability to work collaboratively and build solid working relationships with the Executive Education team, faculty, staff, administration, and outside stakeholders including corporate partners
• Ability to assess priorities and respond quickly to changing needs and to balance competing responsibilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail.

Physical Requirements (With or Without Accommodations):

• Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information.
• Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication.
• Hearing ability for verbal communication/conversation/responses via telephone, telephone systems, and face-to-face interactions.
• Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling and prolonged sitting.
• Lifting and moving objects and equipment up to 10 lbs.

Work Environment:

• Work is indoors and sedentary and is subject to schedule changes and/or variable work hours.
• This role is an on campus, in-person position.
• There are no harmful environmental conditions present for this job.
• The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate.
