Job Summary:

Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences at Texas Christian University is excited to announce our search for a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Post-Doctoral Fellow in Nursing. TCU Nursing has an innovative curriculum designed to prepare students for work in a wide variety of agencies, clinics, and other community facilities in addition to hospitals and extended-care facilities. The emphasis in classrooms and patient care settings is on the development of critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and decision-making. TCU Nursing faculty include accomplished educators, researchers, and practitioners interested in promoting the field of nursing education and practice. Our simulation and practice labs are equipped with state-of-the-art technology to prepare students for patient care before entering the hospital setting.

As a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Nursing, the successful candidate would support TCU Nursing’s efforts to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion as part of the curriculum and training of our undergraduate students. Teaching one nursing course per semester in their area of expertise, the DEI Post-Doctoral Fellow will allow TCU Nursing to meet the needs of growing enrollments and a diversifying student body. Assisting TCU Nursing with the integration of these themes into nursing courses will be a powerful means for attaining and ensuring greater health equity across a variety of communities, and will promote interdisciplinary collaboration within Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences and across campus.
