Job Summary:

The Administrative Support - Temp is responsible for supporting the functions of the Neeley Analytics Initiative which includes gathering and disseminating information, coordinating and assisting with multiple NAI initiatives and projects.

Duties & Essential Job Functions:

1. Provides office support by receiving, completing, verifying and evaluating information; preparing and distributing mailings; establishing and maintaining files; producing reports; responding to queries; coordinating meetings.
2. Supports various NAI functions by establishing and maintaining contact with relevant employees and stake holders within and outside TCU to organize meetings, maintain communication and coordinate processes.
3. Supports coordination, organization and management of NAI events such as meetings, workshops, panel discussions, conferences, etc.
4. Supports NAI social media platforms by gathering and shaping content, refining and posting material as needed.
5. Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures; posting informational notices; reporting needed repairs.
6. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, continuing needs and follow up actions.
7. Completes training and orientation modules as and when required for effective functioning.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

• Completion of at least 2 years of college.
• 1 year of basic office experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Skill in the use of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
• Skill in effective written and verbal communications.
• Knowledge of basic social media platforms.
• Knowledge of basic customer service techniques.

Physical Requirements (With or Without Accommodations):

• Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information.
• Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication.
• Hearing ability for verbal communication/conversation/responses via telephone, telephone systems, and face-to-face interactions.
• Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling and prolonged sitting.
• Lifting and moving objects and equipment up to 10 lbs.

Work Environment:

• Work is mostly indoors and sedentary and is subject to schedule changes and/or variable work hours.
• There are no harmful environmental conditions present for this job.
• This role is an on campus, in-person position.
• The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate.
