Job Summary:

The Creative Content Associate responsibilities and opportunities may include, but are not limited to: filming, editing and producing video content for TCU Athletics on social media and in-venue video boards; working in-venue video board production; and assisting and/or managing studio video shoots. Reports to the Director of Creative Content. This temporary position will not exceed 12 months.

Duties & Essential Job Functions:

1. Provides video and photo content for the TCU Athletics social media platforms (including TCU Athletics main account and accounts associated with the specific sport)
2. Serves as the primary video producer for a specific sport (to be decided)
3. Produces content for and oversees production for in-house video boards
4. Assists and/or manages video shoots
5. Helps maintain and organize creative media
6. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Media or related field
• One year of experience in video production

Preferred Education & Experience:

• One year of experience in video production within a college athletics or professional sports environment.

Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of editing via Premiere Pro
• Knowledge of graphics creation software (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
• Skilled experience in shooting live event photos and video
• Skill in both spoken and written communication.
• Ability to produce video content
• Ability to work with minimal supervision under strict deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours.

Physical Requirements (With or Without Accommodations):

• Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information.
• Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication.
• Hearing ability for verbal communication/conversation/responses via telephone, telephone systems, and face-to-face interactions.
• Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling and prolonged sitting.
• Lifting and moving objects and equipment up to 10 lbs.

Work Environment:

• The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
• This role is an on campus, in-person position.
• Requires attendance at home and away games, events, contests and special events
• There are no harmful environmental conditions present for this job.
• The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate to extreme.
