The Director - Athletics Wellness Center is expected to manage multiple facilities while maintaining a safe environment for student-athletes and staff with sport science modalities and other related technology. The position supervises the wellness center coordinator, student workers, and graduate students as applicable. The wellness and HPC facilities serve 22 intercollegiate teams year-round with non-traditional hours. Finally, this position is expected to assist in coordination and execution of events that might occur within and around the facilities as applicable.
1. Creates and maintains wellness center schedule for teams/individual athletes year-round with hours depending on practice schedules and team needs.
2. Maintains a safe environment in wellness center and HPC upper-level rooms.
3. Assists Athletic Facility Operations team to determine adequate and efficient staffing levels needed for set-up and clean-up for various events in human performance spaces for intercollegiate teams, donor events, and other special events hosted by TCU Athletics.
4. Coordinates maintenance repairs and schedules on all wellness related modalities, pools, sports medicine equipment in wellness center and all sports medicine facilities to ensure safety of end users including, but not limited to, student-athletes and staff.
5. Creates, revises, and maintains staffing schedules to ensure all necessary facility aspects are handled properly.
6. Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree
• 4 years of experience managing facilities
• Masters’ degree
• Prior experience managing Athletics facilities.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License
• Must be insurable under the University Motor Vehicle Requirements

• Knowledge of intercollegiate athletics.
• Knowledge of vendor or contract management principles and practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and recommend facility and maintenance improvements in conjunction with Athletic Facility Operations.
