The IRB Compliance Analyst provides administrative and regulatory support for the Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) and Institutional Review Board (IRB). The position assists with intake, pre-review, coordination, tracking, and processing of human subjects research submissions in Cayuse Human Ethics, including initial studies, modifications, continuing reviews, renewals, closures, reliance-related activities, and reportable events/incidents. The analyst supports investigators and research staff by facilitating compliance with institutional policies and applicable human subjects research regulations under the direction of the Director of Research Compliance. Complex, novel, or high-risk regulatory matters are referred to the Director of Research Compliance for review and determination. This is a temporary, hourly position approved for limited-capacity support and is capped at an average of 29 hours per week.

The Tutor is responsible for providing individual and small group tutoring to student-athletes in the AASO facilities, and assisting in improving academic achievement by meeting with student-athletes on a regular basis to clarify learning problems and work on study skills. Other assistance might include: reviewing class material, discussing the text, preparing for tests, brainstorming ideas for papers, or working on solutions to practice problems. Tutoring is a supplement to classroom instruction. The Tutor will report to their assigned Learning Specialist and/or the Tutor Coordinator. This is a part-time position. The Academic Coach is responsible for reinforcing the Athletic Academic Services Office (AASO) commitment to transformative education by helping student-athletes with learning strategies, organization, study skills and alignment of their academic priorities. Academic Coaches work with identified student-athletes based on recent matriculation, developing academic achievement and/or learning differences. Academic Coaches seek to model appropriate behavior for learning, provide customized instruction and guide student-athletes through the learning process. The Academic Coach will report to their assigned Learning Specialist and/or the Tutor Coordinator. This is a part-time position.
