The Harris College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Texas Christian University seeks candidates for a 9-month tenure-track position in nursing as the W.F. “Tex” & Polly Rankin Endowed Professor in Nursing. Minimum requirements include an earned PhD in nursing or a related field, demonstrated effective teaching in higher education for at least three years, and an established record of funded research and scholarly work.

Candidates must meet criteria for appointment as an Associate or Full Professor. Applicants for this position will have designated resources to support their research program and travel. Educational preparation and clinical expertise in adult medical-surgical, critical care nursing preferred. The position(s) is on-campus and in-person. Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain a current, valid, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.

The Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences consists of programs that prepare future health care and human services professionals. The academic units within Harris College – Applied Health Sciences, Communication Sciences & Disorders, Occupational Therapy, Kinesiology, Nurse Anesthesia, Nursing, and Social Work – are home to 1,900 students who are supported by committed and talented faculty and staff.
