This full-time faculty position is on-campus and in-person.

The Department of Finance at Texas Christian University invites applications and nominations for an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice in Finance in the Neeley School of Business. Primary teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses in finance, with an emphasis on private equity and alternative investments. The applicant should be capable of teaching high quality courses in multiple areas of finance in addition to private equity and alternative investments. This position is a not a tenure-track position and has no research requirements associated with it.

The position requires a completed Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Finance or an equivalent discipline, as well as significant work experience in Private Equity or Alternative Investments. The applicant for this position should be capable of effectively teaching finance courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Candidates must be able to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.

Department Details:

The Department of Finance has 20 full-time faculty members. Department members regularly publish in leading journals. The LKCM Center for Financial Studies enhances the quality, prestige, and national visibility of finance programs at the Neeley School of Business by providing research support for faculty, industry partnerships, and assisting students searching for excellent employment opportunities in finance. Since 1973 the Neeley School has offered the Educational Investment Fund (EIF), a large endowment run entirely by students, offering them valuable investment experience working with fellow students to manage a portfolio of stocks and bonds.
