The Manager, Neeley Digital Communications for the TCU Neeley School of Business will help shape and grow the online presence of the Neeley brand, building on the consistent narrative across a variety of mediums. Manager will develop and drive a multifaceted and comprehensive content strategy, and implement key digital communication content and activations.
1. Under the direction of the Neeley Director, Communications, drives the development, creation and distribution of various content across a variety of digital channels for the Neeley School. This includes, but is not limited to, social media, school news, media outlets, and website content.
2. Collaborates on and supports multiple promotional efforts around activations from the TCU Neeley Institutes and Centers of Excellence.
3. Responsible for brainstorming, creating, and deploying content independently including compelling social media graphics, short-form videos and copy for unique and engaging content, tailored to specified target audiences.
4. Mentors, directs and partners with internal Neeley teams, including unit directors and program leaders, to ideate and generate creative content, and advises team members on specific content and industry best practices as appropriate.
5. Develops new strategies to increase audience engagement and brand awareness, incorporating best practices for user-friendly, SEO-optimized content to drive traffic and engagement.
6. Coordinates with External Relations team and various Neeley departments to develop and maintain editorial calendars for strategic planning of social media and news content.
7. Tracks social media engagement and performance to identify high-performing ideas and scalable campaigns, and conducts social media market research to identify new opportunities.
8. Monitors and analyzes the effectiveness of digital outreach initiatives, social media engagement and the like. Prepares reports to assess the impact of digital efforts and provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement and growth.
9. Researches and stays up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in multimedia content creation.
10. Works closely with various internal (Neeley and TCU) teams to align digital outreach efforts, ensure consistent messaging, and create a cohesive digital presence.
11. Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Marketing, Journalism or related field, or equivalent in experience.
• 3 plus years’ experience in digital content creation, social media management, and content strategy.
• 5+ years of proven experience in digital content creation, social media management, and content strategy.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
• Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premier Pro, CapCut)
• Experience with social media platforms, scheduling and reporting tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Buffer, Google Analytics)
• Experience using project management software (e.g. Workamajig, Monday or Trello)
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques
• Knowledge of basic HTML skills for email and web content formatting
• Experience using content management systems (CMS) (e.g., Kentico)
• Experience using email marketing platforms (e.g., Blackbaud, Salesforce)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Interpersonal skills to effectively work with passionate stakeholders.
• Skill in analytical thinking, including digital performance data
• Skill in timely completion of tasks and consistency with deadlines while ensuring quality delivery.
