The Director of Operations – Swimming & Diving is responsible for supporting the TCU Swimming & Diving program by coordinating and executing all operational, logistical, and technical functions. This role also assists with recruiting coordination and serves as a key liaison between the program and various university departments.
1. Plans and executes all aspects of team travel, including transportation, lodging, meals, and itineraries for competitions and training trips.
2. Serves as the primary liaison between the Swimming & Diving program and internal departments such as compliance, equipment, business operations, marketing, facilities, and academic services.
3. Assists with recruiting logistics, including organizing official and unofficial visits, travel arrangements, and communication materials, in accordance with NCAA rules.
4. Manages and maintains team software systems such as TeamWorks, JumpForward, Hy-Tek, and Colorado Timing. Oversees video capture, editing, and performance analysis for both swimming and diving through Sideline Scout.
5. Maintains the team calendar, coordinates practice and competition schedules, and assists with meet operations and logistics.
6. Facilitates onboarding and matriculation processes for new student-athletes and support current athletes with administrative needs.
7. Coordinates community service initiatives, alumni outreach, and promotional events in collaboration with the athletics marketing and development teams.
8. Ensures all operations are conducted in compliance with NCAA, Big 12 Conference, and university policies.
9. Performs other duties as assigned to support the success of the Swimming & Diving program.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• One year in college or professional athletics, preferably in a director of operations or similar administrative role.
• Experience working with swimming and diving programs or other collegiate athletic programs or departments
• Familiarity with Hy-Tek Meet Manager, Colorado Timing Systems, and Sideline Scout video analysis tools.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
• Must be insurable under the University Motor Vehicle requirement.
